Overview: EQUANS is recruiting a multi-skilled Joiner based in College Road, Kingstanding, to work on repairs and maintenance for Birmingham City Council properties across Birmingham. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities:
1. Measure, cut, and assemble wood, composite, or metal components for doors, windows, cabinets, and other joinery items.
2. Install and fit joinery components including locks, handles, hinges, and fittings.
3. Repair or replace damaged joinery components such as skirting boards, staircases, and kitchen units.
4. Assist with minor plumbing tasks like repairing leaks and replacing taps.
5. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work within deadlines.
6. Maintain accurate records of work and materials.
7. Perform other reasonable tasks as required.

Candidate requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Joinery or equivalent
* Valid CSCS card
* Knowledge of health & safety regulations
* Experience in joinery installation and repair
* Basic plumbing and electrical understanding
* Knowledge of joinery materials and tools
* Ability to work independently and manage time
* Previous multiskilled experience in construction or property maintenance
* Full UK driving license
