<div><h3>About the Team</h3><p>You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</p><h3>Job Purpose</h3><p>The Regional Health & Safety Manager is responsible for leading, implementing and maintaining effective health, safety and compliance systems across the distribution centres and associated transport operating locations. The role ensures that all logistics operations, including warehousing, fleet and transport activities, operate in full compliance with legal requirements and company standards while promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><b>Health & Safety Leadership</b>– Working with the Health and Safety Director to lead the health and safety strategy across distribution centres and transport locations; promoting a proactive safety‑first culture across all operations; providing professional health and safety advice to site leadership teams and operational managers.</li><li><b>Compliance & Governance</b>– Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and logistics regulatory requirements; maintaining and reviewing health and safety policies, procedures and risk assessments.</li><li><b>Risk Management</b>– Identifying operational risks within warehousing, yard operations, vehicle movements and transport activities; developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies; leading incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.</li><li><b>Transport & Fleet Safety</b>– Working closely with transport teams to ensure compliance with transport safety standards and operator licence requirements; overseeing safe systems of work relating to vehicle movements, loading/unloading and yard management.</li><li><b>Training & Engagement</b>– Developing and delivering health and safety training programmes; ensuring managers and supervisors understand and fulfil their safety responsibilities; supporting safety committees and employee engagement initiatives.</li><li><b>Performance & Reporting</b>– Monitoring key safety metrics including incidents, near misses and audit findings; producing regular health and safety performance reports for senior leadership.</li><li><b>Contractor & Third‑Party Management</b>– Ensuring contractors and service providers comply with site safety standards; managing contractor risk assessments, permits and safe systems of work.</li></ul><h3>Skills & Experience Required</h3><ul><li>Proven experience in health and safety management within logistics, warehousing or transport operations.</li><li>Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.</li><li>Experience managing multi‑site operations.</li><li>Experience conducting investigations, audits and risk assessments.</li><li>Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and training capability.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).</li><li>NEBOSH Diploma / equivalent (desirable).</li><li>Membership of IOSH (TechIOSH/GradIOSH or above desirable).</li></ul><h3>EEO Statement</h3><p>At JINGDONG Logistics, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
