The Role
The firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its highly successful and growing Employment Law department, based in the heart of Southampton. This department deals with a wide variety of work, including both claimant and respondent cases, and offers an increasing focus on corporate advisory.
As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
* Handling a broad range of contentious and non‑contentious employment matters
* Advising on redundancies, settlement agreements, grievances, TUPE, employment tribunals, dismissals, and discrimination cases
* Acting as an external HR function for a diverse range of companies, from SMEs to large national corporations
The Ideal Candidate
* At least 2 years PQE in Employment Law (candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply)
* Strong expertise in the areas listed above
* Good technical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to build and maintain client relationships
