Hours of work: Days Monday to Friday Weekends Start times will be around 06.00hr but this may vary depending on the needs of the business Salary: £14.72ph plus £1.78ph holiday pay ( Total inclusive of holiday pay £16.50 ) Weekend shifts can pay as much as £19.63 plus £2.37 holiday pay ( Total inclusive of holiday pay £22.00 ) The Role: Starting ASAP Ongoing work HGV 1/ Class 1/ Cat CE container work Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Must have held a valid HGV 1/ Class 1/ Cat CE licence for at least 2 years. Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Must hold a valid Digital tacho card. Must have experience on containers. Good communication skills. Good customer relations. Have a safe driving record. No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations. No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations. Must have valid RHIDES card.
