Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to oversee our store daily operations and ensure the highest standards of food preparation and service. Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
* Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment, placing orders as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
* Assist in serving meals during peak hours, providing excellent hospitality to guests.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and motivation.
* Previous experience in kitchen operations or food production is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with barista skills or hotel experience is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
