Senior Occupational Therapist – Hull City Council (Localities Team)
Hourly Rate: £40.97
Location: Hull
Working Pattern: Flexible hours – minimum 2 days per week office-based (preferably 3–4)
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Hull City Council for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Localities Team.
This position requires an Occupational Therapist with substantial experience in adult services and proven ability to provide supervision and professional support to team members. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical reasoning skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Undertake complex assessments and interventions within adult services.
2. Provide supervision, guidance, and professional support to Occupational Therapists and support staff.
3. Contribute to service development and ensure high standards of practice are maintained.
4. Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support adults in achieving independence and improved quality of life.
Requirements:
5. Degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
6. Significant post-qualifying experience in adult social care/community OT.
7. Demonstrated experience of providing supervision/mentorship.
8. Ability to attend the office 2–4 days per week in line with service requirements.
