Roles & Responsibilities
* Deliver technical expertise for plant room products, PHEs, and valves, including specification documents and support.
* Manage product group sales targets, product strategies, and plans for range growth.
* Provide technical support for product queries, including selection, sizing, and installation guidance.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, accreditations, and approvals in collaboration with sourcing teams.
* Maintain and develop product data, technical documents, and sales support materials.
* Support marketing by reviewing and approving technical content and creating source materials.
* Deliver training sessions for staff, contractors, and specifiers to build knowledge and confidence.
* Collaborate with the Specification Director on winning specifications, CPDs, and high-level client presentations.
* Investigate and resolve product issues with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
The person
* Strong knowledge of mechanical/plumbing plant room products, PHEs, valves, and systems.
* Experience in building services industry, including technical, specification, and application elements.
* Ability to read and work with system design drawings.
* Commercial awareness of customer and company requirements.
* Presentation and sales skills with the ability to advise on system and product selection.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to travel for external appointments.
