Stock Controller / Goods In Operative – Manufacturing Location: Hythe, Kent Salary: £24,750 – £25,350 quarterly bonus (negotiable dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays! This role would suit a proactive Stock Controller or Goods In Operative who enjoys hands-on work, maintaining accurate records and supporting production teams by ensuring materials and components are received, stored and distributed efficiently. The Role Receive, check and accurately record incoming goods, consumables and subcontracted items Distribute purchased items efficiently to production and engineering departments Maintain accurate stock levels for work-in-progress and bought-in components Support production teams by ensuring stock records remain accurate and up to date Assist with the despatch of finished goods as required Provide cover for raw material stores during holiday periods Maintain a tidy, organised and safe environment About You Previous experience within a stores, goods-in or stock control role in a manufacturing environment Strong organisational skills with a methodical and accurate approach to work Comfortable using computer-based stock control systems Good attention to detail with the ability to adapt to changing priorities Clear communicator who works well as part of a team Forklift or side-loader experience beneficial, though training can be provided Why Join?
