Key Role Summary:
This role plays a crucial part in driving business growth by providing insightful financial guidance and advice to stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing data, creating meaningful insights, and challenging existing processes to improve decision making.
A key focus of this role is to work closely with the Mortgages leadership team to optimise performance. This includes developing a deep understanding of key business metrics and ensuring that controls within the Mortgages Finance Business Partnering teams remain effective and consistent.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a financial environment, with excellent prioritisation skills and the ability to present complex financial information to senior stakeholders. They will also possess strong Excel skills and experience of consolidating large amounts of data into management information.
About You:
* You are a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant experience working in a financial environment.
* You have excellent prioritisation skills for both your own work and that of the wider team, while working to tight deliverable timescales.
* You are confident in the presentation of financial information to senior stakeholders, taking a big picture view to evaluate and challenge business and pricing proposals when necessary.
* You have a proven track record of working very closely with non-finance stakeholders to strike the right balance between customer outcomes and commercial sustainability.
* You have excellent Excel skills with experience of consolidating large amounts of data into management information.
