Your new company A large, values‑driven organisation is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to provide immediate support within a busy finance function. You'll join a collaborative team focused on delivering high‑quality financial insight and supporting effective decision‑making across the business. Your new role As Interim Management Accountant, you will take ownership of core month‑end and forecasting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You will prepare journals, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis, and present clear monthly insights to stakeholders. You will also support quarterly forecasting cycles and contribute to budgeting and business case reviews. Key responsibilities include: Delivering month‑end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations. Preparing monthly variance analysis and presenting findings to stakeholders. Supporting quarterly forecasting and contributing to budget preparation. Managing control accounts and ensuring financial accuracy. Providing day‑to‑day financial support and identifying emerging trends, risks and opportunities. What you'll need to succeed A strong background in management accounting with hands‑on month‑end experience. Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail. Confident communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly. CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, finalist or part‑qualified. A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
