Location: BBC West Midlands, B1 1RF
Length: ASAP – 18/07/2025
Rate: £150 - £200 per day (Inside IR35)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Mon – Fri (Hybrid)
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Systems Administrator to join the BBC’s HR Systems team. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate processing of data and providing support across key HR systems, primarily SAP HCM and the Learning Management System (LMS). The successful candidate will handle administrative tasks and offer second-line support to colleagues, contributing to the smooth operation of the BBC’s HR infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities
* Perform data administration tasks within SAP HCM, including:
o Maintaining the organisational structure and learning-related data
o Providing basic second-line support for LMS-related queries and tickets
o Ensuring all data entry and processing activities meet quality and accuracy standards
o Collaborating with HR team members and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and reliable HR system performance.

We’re looking for someone who brings a blend of technical proficiency, data accuracy, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience with SAP HCM, particularly with HR organisational objects and their attributes
* A data-oriented mindset with a proven track record in data administration
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Experience working with data in a large-scale organisation (e.g., the BBC or similar)
* Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and listening—used to engage with colleagues at all levels
