Senior Design Engineer (Electrical)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join us at CPW, based at our Solihull office. This is a permanent full-time position working 36.25 hours per week under our agile framework.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be a vital part of the team with a high degree of autonomy. You should be well-organized, flexible, driven, and capable of delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines. You will also manage the electrical engineering aspects of junior team members assisting on projects. Your key responsibilities include:
* Acting as Project Leader on selected projects
* Collaborating as part of larger project teams
* Attending principal meetings and presenting to clients on selected projects
* Promoting technical excellence in electrical engineering within the team
* Developing the ability to become a key contact for clients over time
* Helping generate repeat business through excellent client care
* Working on diverse, technically challenging projects across sectors
* Being client-facing and involved throughout all project stages
* Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals
* Producing drawings and specifications
* Producing calculations or guiding others in their completion
Your Experience & Qualifications
We seek candidates with a Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards). Candidates with HNC or HND and relevant design experience will also be considered.
* Minimum of 3-4 years of post-qualification design experience in building services
* Experience with software such as Microsoft Office, Relux/Dialux, Amtech, Revit
* Knowledge of British and European standards, building regulations, etc.
* Knowledge of HTM standards is beneficial
* Professional membership (CIBSE, IET)
* Good understanding of HV/LV systems
* Knowledge of embedded systems integration
* Understanding of renewable technology specifications
* Working knowledge of BREEAM
* An appreciation of mechanical engineering for interdisciplinary meetings
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
