Front line officer, must hold valid DS license, must drive and comfortable in automatic and manual vehicles. Security is onsite to protect property, People and assets by delivery a high security standard. Working days/nights and weekends. Must be proficient in English speaking and writing which is essential. Key Responsibilities Operations:
1. Carry out all site duties as outlined in the Assignment Instructions
2. Stay up-to-date with changes to AI and suggest improvements
3. Ensure compliance with UK laws and regulations
4. Always wear your SIA licence on duty
5. Follow procedures carefully and work methodically
6. Complete mandatory courses required by contract
Training & Development:
7. Finish all required competency training
8. Pursue continuous self-improvement as guided by management
9. Use technology to meet objectives and grow professionally
10. Renew your SIA licence at least 16 weeks before it expires
Health, Safety & Security:
11. Report health and safety risks immediately
12. Stay alert to changes in your environment and act appropriately
13. Involve others if situations escalate
14. Remain professional in difficult situations
15. Record incidents clearly in your notebook and report them
16. Stick to your schedule and show commitment to Mitie and the client
17. Make check calls on time as outlined in AI
18. Contact emergency services and the communications centre when needed
