Hours: Mon – Thurs 7.15 – 16.45, Friday 7.45 till 11.45 Concept Resources are currently recruiting for an experienced Goods In Dispatch Leader which is a key role responsible for overseeing a team of Logistics workers, ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of the Goods In and Dispatch area. This leadership position requires a detail-oriented professional with robust leadership skills and an in-depth understanding of Logistics processes. The mission for this role is to ensure all parts are received, transactions completed, and items put away in a timely manner. Performance Targets: · Ensure all receipts are received on the same day · Productivity >100% with improving trend. Key Responsibilities: Communication. · Conduct structured morning meetings and further daily communication with the team to ensure clear communication of targets and objectives. Frequent communication of SQCDP status and targets. · Build and maintain direct relationships with customers and suppliers, providing clear communication on all aspects of day-to-day operations. · Escalate relevant issues promptly to the Logistics Manager. Safety. · Ensure that all Company policies, procedures and legal requirements are adhered to which promote the Company’s culture. · Collaborate with the H&S officer and committee to reduce risks in the area through effective risk assessments. · Ensure a safe working environment through regular safety controls audits. · Supervision of all Forklift Operations. · Investigate accidents and enforce all safety controls (method statements) in the area. · Cleanliness and safety of the Finished Goods, Goods In area Containers and bulk storage areas including all 5S processes. Quality. · Carry out full Investigations and provide clear accurate responses to Customer concerns in a professional and timely manner. · Accountable for the accuracy of Inventory in bulk, finished goods and offsite stock at Telford TSI. · Booking of parts immediately into location and locating items as quickly as possible after receiving them to Navision. · Highlighting the early receipt of product to the Stores Manager prior to booking in and then taking follow up action. · Regular communication with the Purchasing Team to ensure that they are informed of over stock and early receipts. Cost. · Responsible for cost effectively Booking and arranging transport and monitoring subsequent costs. · Ensure team engagement with targets and objectives. · Monitor work productivity and report any concerns to the store's manager. · Constantly strive for productivity gains through VA activity and removal or 8 wastes. Delivery. · Develop a visual plan for the team aligned with the work-to-list, outlining expectations for each team member. · Raise issues to line manager where goods are not available in locations 24 hrs before dispatch. · Dispatching product punctually to meet the sales order schedule. Highlighting any items which are overdue to the relevant Cell planners. · Manage the sales order returns process ensuring parts are booked in punctually and issued to the customer after completion of repair. · Work with minimum supervision to identify, predict and resolve problems. · Ensure the necessary stock levels of packaging are available in the dispatch area. · Work closely with other support functions to deliver the company's objectives. · Advocate for the customer and uphold the promised delivery date. · Keep customers and systems fully updated on any delays and expected planned dates. · Coordinate with other departments to address exceptions. People. Managing Staff Performance through the SQCDP measures to achieve and then to improve company standards. · Rewarding and Recognizing Good Performance (Switched On). · Identifying coaching need of Poor Performance, setting Smart targets (Coaching for Excellence). · Identifying other coaching need and opportunities setting Smart targets (Coaching for Excellence, PDR). · Maintain company standards by dealing with conduct issues in an effective and timely manner. Lead by example through the promotion of Company values, standards, policies and procedures.
