Brooks England UK Procurement Specialist

Brooks England is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our UK Operations Team.

In this role, you’ll contribute to the end-to-end procurement process within assigned categories — from analyzing internal requests and managing supplier orders to supporting negotiations and conducting total cost analyses. You’ll help ensure compliance with corporate standards on service, quality, pricing, and ESG goals, while driving the continuous improvement of internal and external supply chain flows.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manage purchasing activities based on business needs, in coordination with the Planning team and production supervisors.
* Interact with suppliers, maintain records, and manage ongoing commercial relationships.
* Negotiate and formalize economic and contractual terms regarding lead times, costs, MOQs, delivery methods, as well as requirements for raw materials, components, and quality standards.
* Administer and manage periodic purchase orders, update item master data, price lists, and master records in the ERP system.
* Assist with procurement of factory consumables, utilities, machinery and maintenance.
* Monitor lead times and follow up with suppliers when needed.
* Ensure compliance with agreed corporate specifications and policies (service, quality, target price, ESG, etc.), liaising with product/quality/project colleagues and with suppliers for claims and returns.
* Oversee warehouse movements to ensure stock levels and accounting accuracy.
* Contribute to the implementation of special projects, in collaboration with different company functions, aimed at developing a sustainable, efficient, and innovative supply chain.
* Liaison with shipping companies, distributors and direct customers for dispatch of completed goods.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

* Fluency in English; a second language is a plus
* Solid understanding of procurement and supply chain processes, including production and logistics principles
* Familiarity with ERP / WMS systems (SAP Ariba)
* Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills
* Effective problem-solving and negotiation abilities
* Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills

YOUR BACKGROUND:

* Degree or diploma in Economics, Engineering, Technical Studies, or a related field.
* Previous experience in purchasing or procurement roles within manufacturing environments, ideally in the premium or handcrafted products sector.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other factors prohibited by law.
