Job Title: Metrology R&D Scientist We are currently recruiting for a Metrology R&D Scientist to join a global medical products and technologies company focused on managing chronic conditions. This is a hands-on, lab-based role, combining metrology responsibilities with analytical method development and testing. Key Responsibilities: Oversee equipment purchase, installation, validation, calibration, and servicing. Conduct analytical testing in line with GxP requirements. Develop and validate analytical methods (e.g. HPLC, UV-Vis, fluorimetry, FTIR). Draft and review technical documents including SOPs and protocols. Support training and day-to-day lab operations. Use electronic QMS to maintain compliance in a regulated environment. About You: 3–5 years’ experience in metrology and analytical method development. Proficient in lab systems and techniques with strong problem-solving skills. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong communication and documentation skills. Degree (MSc or PhD preferred) in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or related field. This is a full-time, on-site role with no remote working. Occasional visits to the North Wales R&D site may be required.
