**PERMENANT ROLE** The Best Connection are recruiting for a Production Manager to work at our Redditch based client, who are a market leader in Heating/Cooling Manufacture and Design.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
* 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management
* Experience managing teams within a production or assembly environment.
* Strong understanding of production planning and operational processes.
Desirable
* Experience in HVAC, electrical appliances, or mechanical product manufacturing
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies
* Experience with ERP/MRP production systems
* Work closely to KPI's
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
* Plan, organise, and manage daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
* Ensure efficient use of labour, equipment and materials.
* Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet demand.
* Oversee fabrication, assembly and manufacturing processes for portable heating and cooling units.
Health and Safety
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
* Promote a strong safety culture across the production floor.
* Conduct regular safety reviews and risk assessments.
Production Planning and Efficiency
* Collaborate with procurement, technical and sales teams to ensure production aligns with demand forecasts.
* Monitor production KPIs such as efficiency, scrap rates, and output levels.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions and productivity gains.
Equipment Maintainance
* Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operational.
* Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime.

Shifts and Salary
* Mon - Thurs 08.00 to 17.00 / Fri 08.00-14.00
* 40k per Annum
