The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover basis (with potential extension up to November 2026). You’ll play a key role in shaping the learning journey of our youngest KS1 pupils, ensuring they develop a love for learning while meeting their academic milestones. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons. • Support pupils’ progress in line with the KS1 curriculum. • Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment. • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and Governors. • Contribute to the wider life of the school community. About You • We are looking for a teacher who: • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Has experience or a strong interest in KS1 teaching. • Brings creativity, energy, and commitment to the role. • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills. • Shares our ethos of supporting pupils to grow both academically and emotionally.
