Senior Registered Nurse -with experience in the UK for at least one year

We are currently looking to recruit Registered Nurses able to work night shifts with experience in a similar role for at least 3 years. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support in a clinical setting, must have good care planning knowledge as well as be a good motivator an passion for providing exceptional, kind, personalized care that promotes choice, dignity and respect.
Full time, 36 hours per week
Night shifts
Pay rate is £21 per hour

An 105-bed facility set in Halifax, this care home is designed to meet a wide range of needs, including those living with mental health and physical disabilities.
ABOUT YOU:
1. An RGN or RMN, with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.
2. You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.
3. You will work well within the team, leading staff members
4. You must have a UK Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
5. Active UK NMC PIN with no restrictions
6. Clear DBS and 2 satisfactory references
7. Proficient in patient care practices
8. In-depth knowledge of human anatomy
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Working as an RGN Nurse (Registered General Nurse)
25. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long term service users.
26. Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times and in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
27. Be competent and confident in managing people with long term health conditions.
28. Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users with complex needs.
29. Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for service users (as appropriate).
30. Prioritize health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex,urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care.
31. Recognize and work within your own competence level
32. Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
33. Support, manage and guide support workers on a daily basis.
34. Continual personal development to develop oneself and the role.
35. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
36. Providing direct patient care including wound dressing, bathing, feeding and monitoring vital signs
37. Documenting residents’ health status and maintaining accurate medical records
38. Communicating with residents’ family members and healthcare team about their condition and progress
39. Providing emotional support and therapeutic communication to residents and their families
40. Supervising and training nursing assistants and junior nursing staff
41. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, including sanitation and infection control
42. Coordinating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, therapists, and dietitians
