Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist for our EMEA Finance team. The role involves processing supplier invoices accurately and timely, working closely with the Accounts Payable Lead to ensure precise purchase and cost recording. The position offers varied responsibilities, including managing relationships within IDBS, processing and reconciling EMEA credit cards and expenses.
This is an office-based role requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office (Wednesday and either Tuesday or Thursday).
Key Responsibilities
1. Meticulously process invoices, verifying documentation, approvals, correct coding, and classification.
2. Assist with multi-currency employee expenses, checking receipts against policies and applying tax rules.
3. Set up new supplier accounts, verifying details according to company policy.
4. Support month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable and assist with various ad hoc projects.
Success Criteria
* Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel (V-Lookups, PivotTables).
* At least 3 years of experience processing purchase invoices and expenses in a multi-currency environment, with knowledge of VAT and tax regulations.
* Methodical, highly organized, detail-oriented, with good prioritization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with computer-based accounting packages (NetSuite experience is desirable).
