Parklands Surgery is a busy GP training practice located in the centre of Chichester.
We are looking to recruit a salaried GP for a minimum of six sessions per week to add to our current team, which includes three GP Partners, three Salaried Doctors, a Registrar, six Nurses, two Paramedics and three HCAs.
You will be self‑motivated, flexible and keen to be involved in all aspects of the Practice.
The Practice uses TPP SystmOne software.
Start date – July/August 2026 (earlier start date possible by agreement).
Successful candidates will be required to be checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Main Duties of the Job
The Role
The successful candidate will be expected to provide high‑quality, patient‑centred clinical care, working collaboratively with the wider practice team to meet the needs of our diverse patient population. You will be self‑motivated, flexible, and keen to take part in all aspects of practice life.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide general medical services to patients in line with contractual and professional requirements
* Undertake a share of clinical and administrative duties, including results, repeat prescriptions, and correspondence
* Participate in duty doctor/on‑call rota as agreed
* Contribute to QOF achievement and other quality initiatives
* Support the training and development of staff, including medical students and GP trainees
* Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care
* Attend and contribute to clinical and practice meetings
Requirements
* Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and licence to practise
* On (or eligible for inclusion on) the NHS England GP Performers List
* Commitment to patient‑centred care and evidence‑based practice
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Flexible and adaptable approach

Person Specification
* Qualifications
o Fully qualified GP with MRCGP or equivalent
o GMC registration with licence to practise
o Eligible for inclusion on the NHS England GP Performers List
o Evidence of continuing professional development
* Experience
o Experience of providing high quality, evidence‑based primary care
o Ability to manage a broad range of clinical conditions in a general practice setting
o Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team
o Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities for both adults and children
* Skills and Attributes
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
o Good organisational skills, with ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
