We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled Refrigeration Part Fitters to join our Mobile Delivery team. In this field-based role, you’ll be responsible for fitting parts, carrying out PPMs, assisting with second‑line fixes, and supporting the region across a portfolio of sites. You’ll work safely, professionally, and efficiently to meet agreed service levels and deliver an excellent customer experience.
This is an ideal role for someone with a Level 2 Electrical Installation qualification who is eager to build their skills and develop within the refrigeration and engineering environment.
1. Salary: £31,837
2. Up to 4% bonus, depending on performance
What You'll Be Doing
3. Adhere to all client site processes, including signing in/out and permit-to-work requirements.
4. Work safely and comply with all health & safety regulations and best practices.
5. Maintain a professional appearance and ensure your company vehicle is kept in good condition.
6. Complete required HR tasks, including timesheets, absence reporting, and training.
7. Carry out PPM, planned, and reactive refrigeration activities within your trained skill level.
8. Fit, replace, source, and collect approved parts in line with company procedures and guidance from Managing or Senior Engineers.
9. Ensure efficient completion of work orders by sourcing and installing the correct parts.
10. Record clear, accurate, and detailed notes on all completed work.
11. Meet service level agreements and performance targets, supporting first-time fixes and equipment uptime.
12. Assist with fault finding and basic diagnosis, escalating issues where required.
13. Collaborate effectively with the Planning team and Managing Engineers to prioritise workload.
14. Review work order volume and support the region on tasks within your capability.
15. Work cooperatively with team members, sharing knowledge and contributing to training.
16. Attend technical training to develop skills and expertise.
17. Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring professional conduct and timely closure of work orders.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
18. Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365)
19. Valid UK driving licence
20. Ability to work independently and communicate confidently with store teams and the public
21. Strong commitment to customer service
22. Ability to work as part of a team and support wider targets
23. Professional approach and ability to build positive working relationships
24. Good written and verbal communication skills
25. Basic IT skills
26. Flexibility, willingness to learn, and enjoyment of working with people
27. Physically fit for walking, carrying equipment and using ladders
