We are seeking a skilled and compassionate SeniorMental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic CAMHS Crisis and Home TreatmentTeam. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young peoplefacing acute mental health challenges delivering timely assessments,intensive home-based support, and working closely with families to preventhospital admissions.
The service operates 7 days a week 8am-8pm, (shifts are 8-8)
The role is open to registered professional (RMN /Social Worker / Occupational Therapist) with:
Experiencein CAMHS, crisis, or acute mental health services
Strongrisk assessment and safety planning skills
Theability to work autonomously and within a team
Aflexible, compassionate, and resilient approach
Be ableto meet the travel requirements of the role

This is a full time role but we would consider part time (to include weekends)
Main duties of the job
Undertakecrisis assessments and risk management plans for young people presenting inacute mental health distress
Delivertime-limited, goal-focused interventions in community and home settings
Collaboratewith families, schools, social care, and acute services to provide holisticcare
Participatein team meetings, case discussions and multi-agency forums
Maintainaccurate clinical records and contribute to service development initiatives
Participatein a 7-day service rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
Participatingin clinical, safeguarding and reflective supervision.
Workalongside clinical leads and operational leads

Job responsibilities
Operate as partof a multidisciplinary team providing Crisis Intervention and Intensive Home Treatmentto CYP across Worcestershire.
Use theirinitiative and take responsibility for themselves and the quality of their workand the service they provide to CYP.
Proactivelyengage in formal and informal education of Acute Trust staff and otherpartnership agencies, families and children and young people.
Actively andcreatively engage CYP and carers encouraging them to make appropriate use ofthe services available as part of a process of recovery and crisis management.
Undertake full psychosocialassessments with those in need of such. Ensuring thorough, precise and timelydocumentation and dissemination of information in line with Trust policy andprocedure.
Undertake acuterisk assessment and safety planning for extremely vulnerable client groupsduring times of crisis.
Deliver Highquality, evidence-based care to a defined team caseload

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Evidence of post registered clinical qualifications/training or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of training to a minimum of post graduate diploma level
* Current registration with relevant professional body
* I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
* Evidence of on-going continuing professional development
* Evidence of providing a supervisor role
Skills & Abilities
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats.
* Ability to travel to patients at the needs of the service across a wide geographical area in a timely manner
Experience
* Extensive post registration experience in mental health care including mental health assessment and risk assessment
* Use of therapeutic interventions within mental health settings i.e. 1:1, counselling, family therapy and group work
* Delivering teaching / training
* Providing consultation
* Experience of working in a CYP service or Crisis & Home Treatment service
* Formulating and communicating a clinical presentation to an MDT
