Role Description
This role for a Receptionist/Marketing Assistant is located on-site at our offices outside Errol. The day-to-day tasks for this role include greeting and assisting visitors, managing phone calls, handling emails, and providing administrative support. The role also involves assisting with marketing activities such as social media management, content creation, and coordinating marketing campaigns. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive office environment and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve:
* Greeting visitors and customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable.
* Answering and directing phone calls, emails, and web inquiries promptly and efficiently.
* Managing the flow of visitors and ensuring their enquiries are addressed or directed to the appropriate team member.
* Supporting the team with administrative tasks, including maintaining records, scheduling appointments, and assisting with correspondence.
* Keeping the Reception and Show Area organised, clean, presentable, and reflective of Gillies & Mackay's high standards for experience.
* Creating, publishing, and scheduling engaging content (video, photography, graphics, copy) across social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
* Recording and organising performance data.
* Responding to comments and messages, actively engaging with our community.
* Assisting with photography, videography, basic editing and organisation of marketing assets.
Person Specification
Essential Experience & Knowledge:
* Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
* Knowledge of Google Workspace and willingness to learn new systems.
Desirable Experience & Knowledge
* Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
* Proven experience of working to a high standard of detail and accuracy.
* Basic understanding of content marketing and management.
* Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
* N5 English or equivalent.
Essential Skills
* Confident, professional written and spoken communication.
