Care Assistant
Location: Shrewsbury & Surrounding Areas
Contract: Full-Time, Part-Time, Flexible
Salary: £13.45 per hour weekdays, £13.80 per hour weekends + travel time & mileage (40p per mile). Enhanced rate on bank holidays (time and a half)
Driving: Full Driving Licence & access to vehicle required. (UK driving licence & own vehicle required)

Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to older people in their homes, including assistance with daily activities.
* Transport clients to appointments, social activities and shop, as needed.
* Administer medication and support medication management.
* Provide dementia care and support personal and health needs.
* Assist with meal preparation, cleaning and general household tasks.
* Work flexible hours, including evenings, early mornings, alternate weekends or weekends only if preferred.
* Maintain accurate records and report incidents to manager.
Qualifications
* Right to work in the UK.
* Valid UK driving licence.
* Access to a vehicle and ability to obtain business-use car insurance.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to providing quality care and support.
