Teaching Personnel is recruiting for aPart-Time Early Years Teaching Assistantto work in a supportive primary school in theFY3 area of Blackpool. This role involves providing1:1 support for a non-verbal child with a physical disabilityin an Early Years setting.
* Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child with complex communication and physical needs
* Assist with personal care and mobility as required
* Support the child’s learning and development through structured and play-based activities
* Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and external professionals
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
* Experience working with children with SEND, particularly non-verbal or physically disabled pupils
* A calm, caring, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, EYFS, or SEND training) are desirable but not essential
* Willingness to learn and take part in ongoing training
* Weekly pay via PAYE
* Access to free CPD and SEND-specific training
* Flexible working hours to suit your schedule
* Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant with education experience
