As we continue to grow our London portfolio, we are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile individual to support our accounting, corporate, legal, operational, and development functions.
Role Description
This is a multi-disciplinary, hands-on role providing support across several core areas of the business including company secretarial duties, bookkeeping assistance, operations coordination, paralegal support, and development team administration.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, proactive, and eager to learn within a fast-paced property development environment.
Key Responsibilities
Company Secretarial Support
* Maintain statutory company records and filings.
* Support preparation of board packs, resolutions, and Companies House submissions.
* Ensure compliance documents are up to date and properly archived.
Bookkeeping & Finance Support
* Process invoices, purchase orders, and expenses.
* Assist with reconciliations and monthly financial reporting.
* Liaise with external accountants where required.
Operations & Administrative Support
* Manage office supplies, equipment, and supplier relationships.
* Assist IT consultant with employees issues.
* Organise meetings, diaries, travel arrangements, and general administrative tasks.
* Support onboarding of new staff and maintain internal systems and documentation.
* Assist with preparation, review, and organisation of legal documents and contracts.
* Maintain the legal filing system and track key contract dates.
* Liaise with external consultants and stakeholders as needed.
Development & Project Support
* Provide administrative support to the development team across various live projects.
* Assist with coordination of consultants, obtaining quotations, and preparing project reports.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise effectively.
* Professional communication skills (written and verbal).
* Confident with Microsoft Office and digital tools.
* Positive, friendly attitude and willingness to learn.
* Knowledge of bookkeeping or company secretarial processes.
Desirable:
* Experience in property development, legal administration, or finance support.
* Familiarity with project coordination or construction documentation.
Ideal qualifications
* AAT qualification or similar (or working towards).
* Company secretarial / administration qualification
* Proficiency in accounting and financial software tools
* Previous experience in operations or accounts assistant roles is advantageous
