As our Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you’ll go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen whilst driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. In return, we’ll go the extra mile for you, with training, support and opportunities for development.
Base salary details vary with hours; top performers can earn upwards of £60,000 OTE. The base salary is achieved on a typical 40-hour working week.
This is the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation. You’ll be there for members, anytime, anywhere and in any weather, helping to move their day along and building confidence for drivers now and in the future.
Responsibilities
* A communicator: you are a master of diagnostics and essential for delighting customers. You’ll explain information clearly so customers feel safe that their needs will be cared for.
* A self-starter: work independently and as part of a team, travelling to different locations in all weathers.
* A fixer/problem solver: use your technical expertise to solve a variety of issues, from roadside repairs to recovering vehicles to a garage.
Qualifications
* NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience
* Full category B driving licence with 6 points or fewer
* Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
