Sports Coach (Freelance / Self-Employed)
5–8 Hours Per Week
FIFTH Movement is recruiting exceptional sports coaches to deliver high-quality, structured sessions across our partner primary schools.
We are not looking for average.
We are looking for coaches who care deeply about children's development, take pride in their delivery, and understand the responsibility that comes with stepping into a school environment.

The Role
You will deliver structured lunchtime and after-school multi-sport sessions across KS1 and KS2, typically 5–8 hours per week.
Sessions may include:
* Football
* Basketball
* Dodgeball
* Tag Rugby
* Fundamental movement skills
* And other multi-sport activities
You will:
* Plan and deliver purposeful sessions independently.
* Maintain strong behaviour management and clear expectations.
* Create environments where all children, including those with SEND, can participate fully.
* Represent FIFTH Movement professionally within school settings.
* Uphold safeguarding standards at all times.
This role suits coaches who are confident leading groups, and can build positive relationships with both pupils and school staff.
Essential Requirements
* Level 2 Sports Coaching Qualification or a Sports Degree
* An in-date Enhanced DBS
* Experience delivering sport to primary-aged children
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Ability to plan and structure sessions without pre-written lesson plans
* A driving licence and access to a vehicle or being local to the area and able to travel reliably between schools.
* Capacity to commit to 5–8 hours per week consistently
* Professionalism, reliability and clear communication
Schools must be able to rely on you. Punctuality and preparation matter.
