Exciting Opportunity for a GP – Fostering & Adoption Medical Assessor (Remote, Flexible, Self-Employed) We are seeking a GMC-registered GP to carry out remote medical assessments for prospective foster carers and adopters.
Responsibilities
* Review the completed applicant section of the medical form
* Assess the full GP medical records provided
* Consider routine observations completed by a nurse
* Conduct a brief telephone or video consultation with the applicant
* Complete and return the medical assessment form with professional opinion and recommendations
* Receive a competitive fee per completed form, with payment made within 30 days of invoice
Requirements
* Access to a secure, encrypted computer
* Reliable high-speed internet connection
* Telephone and/or video consultation capability
* Ability to manage confidential information in line with GDPR and safeguarding standards
