Internal Brand Manager / Account Manager (Dual Role)

Full Time · Hybrid (3 days in the Exeter office)

Mid-weight to Senior (5+ years’ experience)


About the Role

Evolution Media Group is expanding, and we’re looking for a dynamic individual to join our growing team in a hybrid dual role: Internal Brand Manager for our in-house brands, and Account Manager for a portfolio of client accounts.

This role begins as maternity cover but is being hired as a permanent position with a clear development path into either a full-time Internal Brand Marketing Manager or a full-time Account Manager as the agency scales.

You’ll sit at the centre of our content, creative, and digital teams, bridging strategy, execution, team coordination, and brand growth.


Key Responsibilities


Internal Brand Manager Responsibilities

Managing three internal brands: Evolution Media, Rapid Fusion, and Evo 3D.

Brand & Marketing Management

* Own social media strategy, planning, scheduling, and execution across all internal brands.
* Produce quick reactive social content (basic filming, editing, graphics).
* Collaborate with the Media Production Specialist to plan and deliver high-quality content.
* Collaborate with the Creative Director on visual design assets and campaign creative elements.
* Plan and manage email marketing campaigns across internal brands.
* Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager on campaign execution, ad planning and digital rollout.

Community, Content & Reporting

* Manage all community engagement across platforms.
* Write content copy for social posts, newsletters, and campaign materials.
* Review the team’s monthly performance reports, insights and recommendations.
* Define and maintain brand tone, consistency, and messaging across all channels.


Account Manager Responsibilities

Client Management

* Manage a scaling number of retainer clients alongside the delivery team, across sectors, including homeware, tech, retail and lifestyle.
* Manage ad-hoc project clients alongside the delivery team, looking to deliver websites, production, and content creation.
* Attend media production shoots in the studio or on location with the Media Production Specialist

Project & Team Leadership

* Lead client communications, building strong relationships alongside the delivery teams’ communication with clients.
* Deliver clear briefings and task manage the team (content, digital, production, design) on Asana.
* Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and production schedules with the Media Production Specialist.
* Review team output, quality check work, and ensure consistency.
* Review performance reports and insights to be shared and presented to clients alongside the team.
* Support strategic planning for client accounts, including campaigns, content strategy, and channel growth.


Skills, Experience & Requirements

Experience

* Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, brand management, agency account management, or a hybrid similar role.
* Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
* Comfortable working at speed in a creative, fast-changing environment.


Technical Skills (Recommended for this Role)

Marketing & Digital

* Strong understanding of modern marketing strategy (paid, organic, content, brand).
* Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Ads (not required to execute, but must understand).
* Basic knowledge of Shopify is beneficial but not essential.
* Familiarity with email marketing platforms(e.g. HubSpot, Klaviyo, MailChimp).

Content & Creative

* Basic content creation skills (short-form video, reels, behind-the-scenes, quick in-studio content).
* Basic editing capabilities (Adobe Premiere Rush, Canva, etc).
* Understanding of creative workflows (shoots, storyboards, briefs).

Project & Team Tools

* Experience with project management tools (Asana preferred).
* Comfort using CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
* Strong organisational, briefing, and communication skills.


Progression Pathways

As the agency evolves, this role can develop into one of two permanent career paths:

1. Internal Brand Marketing Manager (Full-Time)

Leading all internal brand strategy, creative direction, content direction, and campaign execution for Evolution Media, Rapid Fusion, and Evo 3D.

2. Account Manager / Senior Account Manager (Full-Time)

Owning a larger portfolio of client accounts, leading strategic direction, client relationships, and cross-team delivery.
