Assistant Flood Risk Consultant\n\nAre you passionate about environmental sustainability and eager to make a meaningful impact in the field of flood risk management? We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Flood Risk Consultant to a friendly team based near Cardiff.\n\nAs an Assistant Flood Risk Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:\n\nConducting flood risk surveys for planning, property mitigation, and assessment purposes.\nUndertaking climate change flood risk analysis at site-specific levels.\nPreparing detailed flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and flood management plans. -SAB applications.\nInterpreting and analyzing flood risk data using GIS platforms.\nDeveloping and maintaining in-house flood risk databases.\nMentoring and supporting junior team members.\nParticipating in team meetings and contributing to innovative business strategies.\n-Site visits across the local area.Candidates are required to have a BSc or MSc in a relevant field such as Geography, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science and experience completing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and flood mitigation reports or SAB applications.
