Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics/Recovery (RGN/ODP)
Tees Hospital, Nuffield Health – Theatre Practitioner (Operating Department Practitioner – Scrub). Permanent, full‑time, 37.5 hours per week. Salary up to £38,500 per annum, depending on experience. Duties are carried out in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
Main responsibilities
* Work in a multi‑disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
* Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities
* Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
* Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
* Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
* Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC)
Experience
* Post‑registration experience in scrub roles within a theatre environment, demonstrating a passion for exceptional patient care
