Based in our café kitchen as a kitchen porter, you will ensure that a clean, hygienic environment is always maintained, whilst also providing an adequate supply of clean pans, crockery and cutlery for the kitchen and front of house operations. You may also be required to assist the chefs with food preparation for our exciting seasonal menus.
You should be able to work quickly and efficiently and be self‑motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who enjoys working as part of a team to help produce high quality food in a friendly fast‑paced environment. The position of kitchen porter is the perfect way to learn and forge a career within catering and hospitality.
This is a permanent part‑time role working 24 hours per week and is an excellent opportunity to work daytime hours with standard working patterns between the hours of 8am and 5:30pm – a rarity within the hospitality industry! Weekend working is essential in this role and occasional evening work may be required to assist with our monthly evening event.
