Anns Home Care is recruiting a full-time, as-and-when Team Leader to join our busy Home Care Team in Belfast. The successful candidate will work as part of a team responsible for providing high-quality services to clients in their own homes by monitoring the quality of care. Flexibility to work unsociable hours may be required.
Anns Home Care is a family-run agency with 25 years of experience in delivering and managing home care services. Our Care Assistants are central to our operations, delivering frontline care to those in need. Working in the community, our Care Assistants support elderly and vulnerable individuals with daily activities, helping them live as independently as possible.

Key Requirements
1. Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare
2. NVQ Level 2 qualification or higher
3. Access to a car and a full driving license
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
7. Empathy and understanding towards clients and their families
8. Leadership, support, and supervision capabilities
Key Tasks and Duties
1. Maintain high standards of care, professionalism, and presentation by example
2. Participate in and supervise the delivery of care to ensure clients' physical, social, intellectual, and emotional needs are met, respecting their dignity, choice, and independence
3. Promote best practices through spot checks and staff supervisions
4. Monitor the quality of care provided to clients
5. Prepare, implement, review, and update client care plans
6. Maintain confidentiality at all times
7. Uphold professional standards among carers and promote company values
8. Keep accurate and confidential records in accordance with company policy
9. Conduct risk assessments in clients' homes annually and as needed
10. Assist in the implementation of new care packages, ensuring timely placement and staff introductions
11. Support the induction and training of new care workers
12. Provide reports on complaints, accidents, and incidents
13. Support rota management and scheduling
14. Participate in the company's Quality Control program
15. Provide shift cover when required
