Well renowned business offering long term work to all KEY INFORMATION Reason for vacancy Increased demand Contract Full time temp to perm Basic pay £13.41ph Shifts 7am-5pm Monday to Thursday Breaks 20-minute early break and 20-minute late break per day – all breaks are paid in full Overtime All optional and is available Monday to Saturday and is paid @1.5x basic rate Holidays 160 Hours per annum / 20 days per annum Bank Holidays Facilities Excellent canteen area with fridges, microwaves and free tea & coffee, well-kept toilets. Very clean and well-maintained facility RESPONSIBILITIES The role * Liaise with the production team to ensure bulk manufacturing is completed in line with production timescales. * Make bulk products from raw materials. * Document raw materials movement within the department. * Ensure workspace and equipment are kept clean and tidy. * Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines when manufacturing bulk product. * Ensure quality standards are met * Chill and filter products in accordance with client specification * Tag and isolate defective material. * Ensure all relevant paperwork is up to date * Report product/material concerns to the Technical Manager * Alert buyer to low stock levels for re-order. KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FLT Certification (Highly Desirable) – Ability to safely operate a forklift truck for raw material handling and product movement. Production Process Knowledge – Understanding of bulk manufacturing processes from raw material handling to finished product preparation. Attention to Detail – Ability to accurately follow specifications, maintain documentation, and ensure quality compliance. Health & Safety Awareness – Strong knowledge of workplace safety procedures and safe handling of materials and equipment. Quality Control Skills – Capable of identifying, tagging, and isolating defective materials and ensuring product quality meets client requirements. Team Communication – Ability to liaise effectively with production staff, technical managers, and buyers to maintain smooth workflow
