About You

If you are passionate about communication and collaboration (co-production), value hearing from parent carers of children with SEND, and enjoy working with diverse groups to develop helpful, relevant, and easy-to-understand information, then this might be the role for you!

As SEND Engagement and Information Development Officer, you will bring creativity and passion for digital communication that makes a difference to families with SEND. Your work will include direct engagement, content creation, and developing informational resources such as the bi-monthly Families in Partnership Newsletter and the annual “You Said, We Did” report for the Local Offer. * Enjoy working with people
* Be an active listener
* Be creative and collaborative
* Be adaptable and flexible with a can-do attitude

This role also involves developing content for online platforms and resources for families of children with SEND, such as Support for Families with SEND - Gloucestershire's Local Offer for Parents & Carers and Future Me – Young People’s Local Offer.

Experience with Adobe programmes and website content management would be beneficial for creating and developing useful resources for families.

Benefits

For your hard work, you will receive:

* Regular support and supervision
* A safe, supportive, and positive working environment
* Access to training and career development opportunities
* Annual leave of 25.5 days (pro rata), increasing to 30.5 days after 5 years
* Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme
* Staff discount scheme
* Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
* Cycle to Work scheme
* Links to employee networks such as Prism (LGBT+) and Young Employees Network
* Gloucestershire Salary Sacrifice Green Car Scheme (T&C's apply)
