About the Team & Role
SEND Quality and Engagement Service is a small team that plays an important role in ensuring that information and engagement are central to our local offer for children, young people, and their families in Gloucestershire.
About You
If you are passionate about communication and collaboration (co-production), value hearing from parent carers of children with SEND, and enjoy working with diverse groups to develop helpful, relevant, and easy-to-understand information, then this might be the role for you!
As SEND Engagement and Information Development Officer, you will bring creativity and passion for digital communication that makes a difference to families with SEND. Your work will include direct engagement, content creation, and developing informational resources such as the bi-monthly Families in Partnership Newsletter and the annual “You Said, We Did” report for the Local Offer. This role is integral to the Quality and Engagement Service, collaborating with teams within Gloucestershire County Council, health services, and the voluntary and community sectors.

This role also involves developing content for online platforms and resources for families of children with SEND, such as Support for Families with SEND - Gloucestershire's Local Offer for Parents & Carers and Future Me – Young People’s Local Offer.
Experience with Adobe programmes and website content management would be beneficial for creating and developing useful resources for families.
