Binnies are looking for Principal Network Modeller to work within our Water Services team on a variety of projects. As a Principal Network Modeller, you will have the opportunity to use your experience support modelling projects across the Binnies business. You will be working on several different types of projects including flooding and water quality. You will be leading and assisting with the training of less experienced modellers to deliver the variety of different projects undertaken by the team. You will work closely with clients, attending meetings and workshops as required, feeding the information back to the team. About the Role: You will support and lead multiple projects to achieve the following: the model build and verification of network models, prepare information for survey contractors, prepare project reports for clients, support the delivery of network modelling projects to budgets and programme, liaise with clients and external organisations as needed, supervise junior team members, assist with the production of bids. Essential Requirements: Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with either the ICE or CIWEM. Extensive knowledge of wastewater networks. Experience in the use of wastewater modelling software including InfoWorks ICM. Familiar with GIS software (MapInfo and ArcGIS). Skilled in the use of MS Word and Excel. Pro-active approach to work. Analytical abilities. Self-motivated and effective team player. A drive to deliver sustainable solutions in the water and environment industries. Full driving licence. Desirable Requirements: Experience in other modelling software (fluvial or clean water). Participation in industry committees. Supportive attitude to other members of a team.
