About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Acute Services Directorate Office for a highly motivated Personal Assistant. This role will provide a comprehensive, efficient and confidential administrative secretarial service to the Chief Nurse and Head of Nursing.
Based in FVRH you will work in a dynamic and highly professional environment, within a supportive and welcoming team. You will work closely with the Chief Nurse, Head of Nursing and senior management team, act as the first point of contact for all enquiries to the department, often dealing with matters of a confidential and sensitive nature.
You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be able to deal effectively with multiple simultaneous tasks and have the ability, commitment and judgement to ensure deadlines and actions are delivered whilst being frequently interrupted.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive, efficient and confidential administrative secretarial services to the Chief Nurse and Head of Nursing.
* Serve as the first point of contact for all enquiries to the department.
* Manage complex diary, attend meetings and take minutes.
* Handle a range of administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
Qualifications
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Experience with complex diary management and minute taking.
* Previous experience in a similar/healthcare setting advantageous.
* Successful completion of a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.

NHS Forth Valley may offer sponsorship for certain roles, provided the post meets the minimum salary threshold and other required criteria.
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata, but there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate to preserve pay.
