The Role:
The Governance & Reporting Senior Specialist supports the Governance, Reporting & Oversight Team Lead with responsibilities to manage 1LoD financial crime governance, MI, reporting, and data analysis for the Life business.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the Policy, Governance & Oversight Team Lead to define and coordinate key 1LoD risk management governance forums.
* Define Life 1LoD FC Governance reporting requirements.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders across Life 1LoD to obtain inputs on governance reporting activities.
* Define MI requirements from Life 1LoD FC teams.
* Collate and analyze required MI from 1LoD teams, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
* Develop and produce regular and ad-hoc MI reports, using data visualization techniques to present insights to stakeholders.
* Support the analysis of MI trends, identify potential areas of risk or opportunities for improvement.
* Act as a delegate for the Governance, Reporting & Oversight Team Lead.
* Produce and coordinate required governance materials.
* Attend required 1LoD FC governance meetings, providing key insights on risk management themes and trends.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Significant experience within governance management and implementation.
* Experience within FC.
* Experience managing junior team members.
* Strong MI and data analytics capabilities.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders within financial crime and business teams.
* Strong organizational and coordination skills.
