Job Description
We are seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. Your responsibilities will include supporting people in developing daily living skills, identifying and meeting their needs, and fostering positive relationships within the community. You will encourage independence and participation in daily activities, respecting the rights of individuals with learning disabilities.
Applicants will undergo a telephone screening interview, followed by a competency-based interview with the Locality Manager. All candidates will be subject to onboarding checks, including right to work, enhanced DBS, and references. New team members will receive induction training at our Acocks Green office, with travel expenses covered.
Some roles may require support workers of a specific gender, as indicated by a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
Hours and Requirements
* Expected hours: 35 per week
* Desire to work with people and make a positive impact
* Experience caring for vulnerable adults (preferred)
