As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will design, develop, and improve products that meet customer requirements, quality standards, and business objectives. This role blends hands‑on engineering, cross‑functional collaboration, and problem‑solving to bring reliable, high‑performance products from concept through release.

You will join a collaborative mechanical engineering team that works closely with manufacturing, quality, sales, and customers. The team focuses on delivering innovative, manufacturable solutions while maintaining high standards for safety, documentation, and design excellence.
What You Will Do
1. Design new products and enhance existing designs to meet customer specifications and performance requirements
2. Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and selected customers
3. Review engineering drawings and documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements and company standards
4. Manage engineering changes through Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs)
5. Develop and maintain product design guidelines, customer standards, and analytical reports
6. Analyze and resolve product‑related issues, presenting technical recommendations to engineering leadership
7. Participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, training, and compliance activities
8. Balance multiple priorities while supporting project schedules and deliverables
9. Perform additional duties as needed to support business and engineering objectives
10. Travel up to approximately 20% as required
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
11. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
12. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical or product design engineering role
13. Strong knowledge of engineering mechanics, physics, and manufacturing methods
14. Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software
15. Working knowledge of GD&T and ANSI/ASME standards
16. Strong problem‑solving skills and sound technical judgment
17. Effective written and verbal communication skills
18. Ability to work collaboratively while also managing individual responsibilities
19. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
20. For U.S. roles: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
What Will Put You Ahead
21. Experience with Finite Element Analysis (structural, thermal, and/or fluid)
22. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
23. High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
24. Experience supporting products through change management and release processes
25. Prior experience working directly with manufacturing or customers on technical issues
