Trainee Mortgage Adviser
Enhanced Salary & Guarantee Structure
* During the first 16 weeks of training, a basic salary plus guaranteed commission up to £30,000 per annum.
* Months 4 to 6: basic salary plus guaranteed commission up to £30,000 per annum.
* Months 7 to 10: basic salary plus guaranteed commission up to £32,500 per annum.
* Months 11 to 16: basic salary plus guaranteed commission up to £35,000 per annum.
* From month 17: £25,000 basic salary plus unlimited commission; realistic OTE of £45,000 plus.
Contract Basis & Location
Full‑time, permanent, employed role. Initially office‑based for the first 11 weeks of training at our Academy Centre on Oxford Street, Manchester, with 5 weeks of remote training. After qualification, working fully remotely.
Working Hours
During 16‑week training: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with no planned holidays required.
Post‑training: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with no weekend or bank holiday work required.
Timeline
Immediate interviews; October 2026 start date.
Responsibilities
The role is telephone‑based, focusing on delivering quality mortgage and protection advice to customers. Responsibilities include:
* Contacting customers and securing appointments.
* Advancing mortgage and protection applications through the full process.
* Managing a consistent pipeline, aiming to write 14 mortgages with protection each month.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Strong desire to work in Financial Services, particularly mortgages and protection.
* Recent graduation at 2:1 or higher, or a proven sales track record.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
* Highly organised, disciplined, and structured approach to work.
* Competitive IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* 52‑year retirement: Fully funded support for CF1 & CF6 qualifications, covering study materials and exam entry costs.
