Job Opportunity: Part-Time Finance Officer Location: Fulham Football Club Foundation Hours: 35 hours per week (part-time) As a Finance Officer, you will provide essential financial and administrative support to colleagues, clients, and stakeholders across the organisation. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and maintaining the integrity of our financial data. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders. Manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and track daily transactions. Handle company credit card and petty cash transactions in line with internal policies. Reconcile payroll, mobile phone usage, and staff expenses including credit and Oyster cards. Prepare and post month-end journals to support the production of management accounts. Support financial audits through preparation of documentation and timely responses to queries. Ensure financial systems are kept up to date and assist with the review and implementation of financial policies. Collaborate with internal departments, provide excellent customer service, and support senior finance staff on ad hoc tasks and projects. What We’re Looking For: Someone who can hit the ground running. Proven experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar financial role. Solid understanding of financial and accounting procedures. Experience using standard accounting software (NAV Business Central is preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other common IT applications. Excellent analytical and numerical abilities. Strong communication skills with a flexible, solution-focused attitude. High levels of accuracy, discretion, and cost awareness.
