CCIS is a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, dedicated to developing land transport solutions. It offers comprehensive and integrated logistics services tailored to meet customer needs throughout their supply chain, including storage, picking, kitting, processing of packaged goods, post-manufacturing, and loading/unloading.
YOUR ROLE | WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
1. Support ensuring all existing and new drivers are updated on Company and Legal policy requirements.
2. Ensure all inductions are conducted in line with company and legal obligations and policies.
3. Manage, analyze, and report on Tachograph data to ensure full compliance.
4. Manage and deliver customer-specific training as required.
5. Proactively deliver theoretical and practical training to colleagues as needed.
6. Complete and deliver periodic refresher training for drivers.
7. Maintain a proactive approach to compliance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
8. Perform site marshalling duties.
9. Work closely with Transport Managers to manage O License-related content.
10. Conduct gatehouse checks.
11. Manage the purchase and distribution of uniforms and PPE.
12. Assist in driving results, including FORS and DVSA Earned Recognition initiatives.
13. Keep comprehensive driver training records.
14. Assist with duties related to driver safety and site regulations.
WHAT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
1. HGV License & Driver CPC.
2. Strong knowledge of LGV operations.
3. Understanding of up-to-date driver hours rules and regulations.
4. Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
5. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
6. Proficient IT skills, including MS Office and relevant systems.
7. Eagerness to develop personal skills and undertake further training.
