Job description
This is a field sales position with full responsibility for managing an existing customer base. The role reports to the Sales Director Eastern Europe. The position is mostly home-based and covers the following markets: Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania.
The main responsibilities of the role can be summarized as follows:
1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in the region
2. Customer Visits & Meetings: Conduct full end-to-end client meetings, including technical consultations and deal negotiations
3. Look for new opportunities and areas of growth
4. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
5. Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with customers, addressing their concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
6. Budget Management: Oversee the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives
7. Sales Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as R&D, Product Marketing and Operations, to align sales strategies with overall business goals
9. Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future plans
Candidate profile
10. Proven experience in field sales (B2B), serving customers in the cosmetics, personal care or home care market
11. Sales-driven mentality – comfortable with both account management & new business development. Ability to handle a portfolio of existing customers and develop business with new accounts
12. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
13. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
14. Technical sales acumen – able to consult and advise customers on product applications
15. Ability to provide rapid customer response & service
16. Fluent in English. Fluency in one or several languages used in the region is expected
17. Passionate, driven, team-oriented and motivated
18. Experience in beauty, personal care or home care packaging is a strong plus
19. Availability for intensive travel across the region (at least 50%, this is a field sales job)
