We are seeking to appoint a capable and enthusiastic Learning Assistant with the desired personal qualities and skills to join the staff team within the Annan Academy Cluster based at Hecklegirth Primary School. You will be required to support pupils with additional support needs to overcome barriers to their learning and reach their full potential.
You will be required to work 27.5 hours per week over 39 weeks per year.
The successful candidates must be educated to SCQF Level 4 (e.g., Standard Grade General, National 4) or equivalent, including Numeracy and Literacy or equivalent, and have experience of working with children and/or young people. A willingness to undertake training will be required.
Experience of working with children/young people with additional support needs and a visit to Primary Inclusion Hub prior to application would be advantageous. A willingness to undertake training will be required.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
