Key Responsibilities: Safety First: Ensure adherence to safety standards and company safety rules; promote a culture of accident prevention. Process Adherence: Ensure teams follow all established processes, instructions, and SOPs; resolve minor issues on the spot and escalate when necessary. Team Support: Mentor and advise colleagues on process improvements and operational best practices; provide feedback to the supervisor regarding team performance. Production Support: Help ensure that manufacturing orders are completed on time and to the required quality standards; report any issues that could affect on-time delivery. Machine & Site Management: Identify and report machine issues, ensure maintenance is conducted promptly, and lock out defective machines to prevent accidents. Team Coordination: Manage team timekeeping and breaks to ensure productivity and efficiency. Leading Hand - Essential Requirements/Experience: Experience: Strong people management skills and experience in a manufacturing environment. Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities; proficient with PC skills including Excel. People Skills: Assertive, firm when needed, but also respectful and motivated to build a strong, cohesive team. Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
