HGV Technician (Nights) role required in Stoke-on-Trent
1. Supervisor role
2. Basic Salary - Up to £55,000
3. Monday to Friday - 10:30pm - 7:00am
4. Main Dealer
5. PLUS overtime at time and a half.
6. Access to in-house and off-site manufacturer accredited training.
Our client, a franchise commercial vehicle dealer group with multiple centres across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Technician / Supervisor for their centre in Stoke-on-Trent.

In order to be eligible for this nightshift HGV Technician/Supervisor role, you will need:
15. Qualification to at least an IMI / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and hold some practical workshop experience post-qualification.
16. Be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy dealership environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
17. Applicants with an active HGV driving license would be highly advantageous however this is non-essential.
18. Experience in commercial workshop
Key objectives in this nightshift HGV Technician/Supervisor role will include:
19. Rectify and diagnose all types of faults across various makes of vehicles
20. Carry out repairs and routine maintenance on vehicles and trailers, adhering to VOSA standards
21. Comply with Health & Safety regulations and ensure safe working practices are followed
22. Ensure careful handling of all vehicles worked on, taking necessary precautions while on site
23. Work closely with the parts department to source necessary components
24. Record accurate clocking, and ensure timely completion of job cards and service sheets
25. Stay up to date with product knowledge, and participate in relevant training sessions
