Joining a team of 2 within a modern, open plan office this role is a mixture of office based and field based work, so this is a diverse position which offers real variety! Reporting to the Head of Department and working alongside an experienced Engineer, duties will include:
Responsibilities
1. Acting as a customer-facing representative of the company to clients
2. Liaising with suppliers and customers via telephone and email to gather information
3. Compiling pre-survey information packs with maps/ drawings/ plans/ documents
4. Attending sites across the UK alongside the Engineer to assist with conducting site surveys
5. Following survey completion, producing outcome reports on the bespoke system
6. Creating analytical reports on Excel relating to the survey results which are submitted to the client (using formulas and v-look ups)
7. Processing and submitting application forms on behalf of clients
8. Following strict industry compliance policies and procedures
9. Working in collaboration with the wider office team to ensure an efficient service and providing support to other teams as required
10. N.B – Due to the field based nature of the surveys, the role does involve nationwide travel (travel and accommodation expenses will be paid) along with physical duties
Working Hours:
11. 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

The company are seeking someone at graduate/entry-level who they can develop and there are realistic progression opportunities within the business – we want to hear from candidates with a Geography or Engineering degree and experience of CAD would be advantageous. The ideal addition to the team will have strong analytical skills, be at an advanced level on Excel and be happy working in a hands-on, dual role involving field based survey work.
